Telegram, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp, at the same time, each channel with its own allowlist.
Template · AI: bring your key
An AI agent with a password-protected web panel, optional browser chat and messaging channels. You bring the provider key; Vertra launches, protects and updates it.
You sign in and come straight back to the wizard.
Hermes Agent, by Nous Research, is an open source AI agent (MIT license). In this template it ships with a web panel (settings, keys, sessions, files, logs, scheduling, skills and channels), a terminal chat and, if you want it, the browser chat. All behind a single login.
Chat through your channels and administer from the browser.
Telegram, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp, at the same time, each channel with its own allowlist.
Sessions, files, logs, scheduling, skills and plugins in a web panel with username and password.
OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini or a compatible endpoint, always with your key.
What the wizard sets up for you.
Settings, keys, sessions, files, logs, scheduling, skills, plugins and channels. The user is admin and the password is generated and shown once.
Tick an option in the wizard and the chat opens at the app address, with sessions, files and settings. Without it, the address leads to the panel.
The panel includes a terminal chat to talk to the agent without leaving the browser.
OpenRouter (any model, free ones included), Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini and any endpoint compatible with the OpenAI API.
Telegram, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp, each with a required allowlist. WhatsApp through the QR in the panel.
The panel and the chat are only reachable after login. Without the password, nothing opens.
What applies to every catalog template.
When a new version comes out, you choose when to update. Vertra takes a snapshot first and, if something goes wrong, you go back to the previous version with your data.
Snapshots of the app disk, like any Vertra app, according to your plan.
The subdomain is published from the start with a valid certificate. Custom domain, on plans that include it.
Passwords, tokens and encryption keys are generated at creation and shown once, at the end of the wizard. No loose plain-text secret in the template.
The numbers come from the Vertra catalog and follow the current plans.

In the wizard, pick the provider and paste the key. An empty model uses the provider default; with a compatible endpoint, give the base URL and the model.
If you want, turn on the browser chat and the channels, with the token and the ids of who may talk. Without the list, nobody talks to the agent.
After the deploy, open the app address with the admin user and the password shown once in the outputs.
If you turned on WhatsApp, open Channels in the panel and scan the QR (it expires). The first time, Hermes downloads what it needs for WhatsApp.
Yes. Hermes uses the model of the provider you choose, with your key. Vertra does not host models or charge for AI: you pay usage straight to the provider.
No. It is optional. Without it, the app address opens the panel directly, which also has a terminal chat.
Telegram, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp, at the same time, each with an allowlist. Email, Signal and other channels can be set up afterwards, from the panel.
Change the password secret in the app variables and restart. The panel starts accepting the new password.
Yes. Provider and model apply on every app start: change the matching variables and restart.
Yes. Sessions and configuration live on the app disk. The update takes a snapshot first and rolling back brings the data along.
